Week 2 Review: Educational Technology and Mobile Learning
Hey Guys, I chose to do my review this week over a website called Educational Technology and Mobile Learning. I picked this website because it supplies many, many blogs to help teachers around the world better equip their classrooms to fit their students needs. My favorite blog that I have read on this website is called 8 Good Apps for Visually Impaired Students. This article provides a total of eight amazing apps to look into for potentially helping a future student that may be visually impaired. After I personally looked through these eight apps, I would have to say that my favorite would have to be the talking calculator. This app provides full VoiceOver support for the users. As technology grows in our world, we are finding more and more ways to help benefit all individuals. The talking calculator can be found on the apple App Store and would most definitely benefit an individual who needed this type of assistance. Also follow them on Twitter for more tools.

Now I want to talk about the website itself, I think that this website is laid out perfectly and can be easily accessible for many individuals. At the top of the main page, it offers many different tabs including 'Ed tech resources', and 'teacher tools'. I think that this site providing many different assets to browsing individuals is making it easier on educators and their everyday teaching routine. Having a website to be able to go to when you need an idea or some inspiration is just what we need sometimes. Go check out some of these cool tabs that this website provides: Google Drive for Teachers, All Categories, Ed Tech Resources, Posters, IPad resources, Edtech Infographics, and Teacher Tools.
Lastly, I want to point out one of my favorite things that I have found on this wonderful website today. For those of you who do not know me personally, I am a flash card making freak when I have upcoming tests, quizzes, or just information that is important to me. I looked through the teacher tools on this website and found a blog that shared 10 amazing flash card making apps that you can download on your personal device. How Amazing?!
