Week 5 Review: EDUTOPIA
Hello friends, I hope you all are having a good week and I'm so glad you have come to check out my weekly review. This week, I chose to review a website called Edutopia. This website is awesome because it provides resources for educators in and out of the classroom. First off, I want to start off by letting all of my viewers know that this website is open to all and anyone who wants to view it. Some websites make you pay to use all the resources that it provides so this website being free to use is amazing. Follow this website on social media to check them out: Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram.

This website is easy to use and easy to go through. Personally, my favorite thing about this website is that is provides videos that show different lessons being taught to students and how they work. I think as being a future educator, this aspect of the website is great because it shows me what works well and what might not work as well in certain classrooms. My favorite video I have watched on this website is a video called Art Infused Project Based Learning. This video was very engaging and I think it could be used in the classroom in many different ways. The overall website is very colorful and layer out very neatly, this makes it so easy to navigate for new viewers like myself. The website sorts different blogs, videos, and articles by relevance and classroom use. I overall love this website and think it could be very useful in the classroom. Some ways that I believe I would personally use this website in my future classroom is reading the articles and blogs on how to use different resources effectively.
This website is so useful for showing educators what works in the classroom and what doesn't work. For me, I think this website could be extremely helpful for first time teachers. As first time teachers are prepping for lessons and classroom assignments, this website would be very handy for making their jobs less stressful by seeing what other professional educators have successfully done in their classrooms. This amazing website allows an endless supply of helpful and useful strategies to use in classrooms across the world. I think that the best thing about this website is that it shows that educators want to help other educators. It is kind of a support system in my own personal thought, which I think is amazing that teachers find it their duty to allow other educators to use what they have done in the classroom and make it their own. Overall, this website was extremely helpful and I will most definitely be using it in my future days of being a teacher.
